The Big Bib Story

Established in 2000, The Big Bib began at a car wash on the East side of San Antonio, Texas. Initially a one-man operation, requiring countless hours to perfect the art of BBQ, hard work and persistence paid off and in 2010, we signed our first lease for the 600 sq. ft. brick and mortar location on Austin Highway in San Antonio. With one part-time employee, hard work, attention to detail and a passion for barbecue, The Big Bib's customer base continued to grow.

In 2012, we up-sized and in 2016 we acquired the adjoining suite to our location and doubled the size of the dining area due to overwhelming demand. In 2016, The Big Bib was approached by the San Antonio International Airport concerning a restaurant space located within the Stinson Municipal Airport on the South side of San Antonio and that location became The Big Bib's second brick and mortar restaurant. Since 2016, The Big Bib has maintained a presence in the Alamodome in San Antonio and McClain Stadium at Baylor University in Waco, Texas.

Today, The Big Bib continues to expand its customer base with reliable product sources, exceptional food quality, and a true passion for service.

The Big Bib's clientele ranges from individuals to corporations - all of whom receive the same high quality food and dining service whether they dine in, carry out, or are catered to. Some of our clients include: ESPN, SpawGlass, Lineage Logistics, USAA, UT Health, Ace Mart, H-E-B, City of San Antonio (Airport), US ARMY Medical Command, HQ-JBSA Fort Sam Houston, Centex, North East ISD, Alamodome, and Baylor University.
